Josh Reddick: Sea Dogs Outfielder… And Author
By Administrator | October 27, 2008
Hey, Red Sox Nation!
Did you know?
The Arizona Fall League has set up a website where prospects from each of the thirty teams in Major League Baseball are blogging about their experiences in the AFL. Each major league team has a “lead blogger”, but other prospects participate as “guest bloggers”.
Who?
As I mentioned, above, each team has designated a “lead blogger” as the point person for the site… the lead blogger for the Red Sox is outfielder Josh Reddick, but reliever T J Large has written a “guest blog” for the site as well.
In addition to Reddick, several upper echelon prospects from other teams are participating in the blogging experience, including Gordon Beckham (CWS), Barret Browning (LAA), Tommy Hanson (ATL), Drew Stubbs (CIN) and Chad Huffman (SD). If you haven’t heard of several of these guys, don’t worry about it you’re not alone… because while they are upper echelon prospects they are guys who are still (primarily) in the lower minor leagues (rookie, A-ball and AA-ball).
When?
The blog entries alternate by league and by division, according to the following schedule:
Monday: NL West
Tuesday: AL West
Wednesday: NL Central
Thursday: AL Central
Friday: NL East
Saturday: AL East
Where?
Links for the blogs for all thirty teams can be found here.
The Red Sox blog, featuring Reddick, can be found here.
