Forty-Two File For Free Agency On Day Two; Six Red Sox Have Filed Thus Far

Forty-two more players filed for free agency on Friday - the second day of the filing period - bringing the total number of players filing for free agency to 107 over two days.
Additionally, three players saw their club option exercised by their teams — 1B Carlos Delgado (NY Mets, $12 million), P Tim Wakefield (Boston, $4 million), and C Rod Barajas (Toronto, $2.5 million).
