The Red Sox filed a lawsuit in Suffolk Superior Court seeking a ruling that swould restore to the team the ball that 1B Doug Mientkiewicz gloved to record the World Series-clinching out and then took home. The case eventually went to arbitration and was resolved when the parties agreed to give the ball to the Hall of Fame.
