Late this morning, the Red Sox announced plans to hike ticket prices for the majority of seat locations at Fenway park for the 2010 season… while some tickets will remain at the same price as last season, the majority of tickets will increase by $2-$5.
The ballclub also announced that tickets for spring training games at City of Palms Park, in Ft. Myers, FLA, will stay the same as last season.
The Sox announced a $2 increase for the following seat locations: right field box, right field roof box, infield grandstand and lower bleacher seats.
Prices will be increased by $5 for the following locations: field box, loge box, Green Monster and Green Monster standing room areas.
No price increases will impact the Budweiser seats / standing room in right field; the Coca-Cola Pavilion seats / standing room in left field; pavilion box seats / standing room; right field roof box / terrace / standing room; outfield grandstand seats; upper bleachers; or general standing room.
The Boston Globe provided a nice chart of the 2009 and 2010 pricing in today’s Extra Bases blog.
