This Day In Red Sox History: November 30, 1967
By Administrator | November 30, 2009
Material for This Day In Red Sox History is drawn from Bill Nowlin’s “Day by Day with the Boston Red Sox”
The Red Sox shipped OF Bill “Rudy” Schlesinger and cash to the Chicago Cubs in exchange for pitcher Ray Culp… Schlesinger played just one game in the big leagues (with the Red Sox - on May 4, 1965) and had just one at-bat (hitless)… Culp, a right-hander, went 71-58, 3.50, with the Sox over his 6 years with the team.
